Damage Quilt One

After spending time mending ripped robes and pillowcases for the hotel, our friend, Lizzie Whitman started to think about where all these damaged out items go when they're no longer repairable. When the materials seemed at the end of their useful life, she couldn't bear to see them go into the recycling bin. She began salvaging the threads, putting together some of the ripped and worn fabrics and giving them new life in the form of these one-of-a-kind quilts. A mix of linen, cotton, kimono fabric, pillowcase, bleach stains. Machine and big-stitch quilting. Care instructions- machine wash gentle line dry, fluff in the dryer. If it rips, patch it up. 58"x81"
